The feature, which is currently under testing, will offer an extra layer of privacy and safety to WhatsApp by requiring an individual passcode in the form of a fingerprint, face lock, or password to access. Even if you have your WhatsApp platform open and are surrounded by individuals, nobody will be able to access your protected chats until the passcode is entered.

WhatsApp features and functions will be available in 2023.

This functionality will also safeguard media files, audio files, and documents sent between two participants in a conversation, in addition to text communications.

If someone attempts to enter these closed WhatsApp chats and fails the authentication procedure numerous times, the report recommends that they must clear the chat in order to open it.

The Lock Chat functionality for WhatsApp talks, on the other hand, is now being tested for Android beta. As the function becomes available to the public, it will also be launched for IOS users.
