Good News for Consumers: TRAI New Order Ensures No More Sim Shutdowns for Days Without Recharge
The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has
recently issued new rules in India, due to which there have been some changes
in the process of SIM closure. In view of the problems of the consumer, TRAI
has decided that the SIM will not be closed for so many days of recharge.

Several significant adjustments have been made to the
recharge plans of Indian telecom carriers. Which telecom providers had
discontinued their lowest and short-term recharge plans. Nevertheless, after
many consumer complaints, the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India issued a
new rule affecting all telecom operators. As per TRAI regulation, all telecom
companies must provide recharge plans effective for 30 days to their customers.
